I've got the details you need about reactivating your payroll subscription, @dlogozio

Right now, we have an ongoing investigation about the red "Reactivate Subscription" alert in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). This error happens when you have not validated the subscription in 45 days or beyond. I assure you that our product engineers are actively working to have a permanent fix.

As an alternative, I recommend changing the shared download setting in the Options tab. Just go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop. If it's No, change to Yes. If Yes, change it to No and click Save. The screenshot below serves as your visual guide. Then, update QBDT to the latest release to keep your software up to date. Once done, download the payroll tax table update to get the most current tax calculations. This way, you can complete your payroll tasks in the program.

I want to ensure you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. With this, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so you'll receive email updates. Please provide the INV-43437 to our representative as your reference. Please check out our support hours before getting in touch with them.

  1. Go to Help from the top menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter Red "Reactivate Subscription" alert in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) after updating credit card information as your concern.
  5. Hit Continue.
  6. Choose an option to connect with a live support agent.

Moreover, I'd suggest running and customizing any payroll reports in the program. Doing so will help you get the payroll information you need about your business. Just go to Reports from the top menu. Then, choose a report from the Employees & Payroll section. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Customize Payroll and Employee Reports

You can post anytime if you need more guidance. Have a great rest of your day, @dlogozio

I am having the same issue and can't get it resolved.  There is no "contact us" button on the Help pop up box.
