I already have an Intuit account and am not going to create a second one. Anyway, I just logged on to their QBOE accounts since I do their books and printed a copy for myself from there.
Hello there, @joyhardi.
Allow me to share some details about the invitation to submit your W-9 information.
You don't need to pay for the subscription, you'll just have to click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to create a free account to securely share your tax information with your client.
You may also reach out to your client to get a copy of your 1099-MISC if you don't want to create a QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. If you've successfully created a free QBSE account, you can only fill out your W-9, submit it, and view your 1099-MISC. Here's how to get started:
Once done, your employer can complete your 1099-MISC. To know more details about the process, you can check out this article: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'll be here if you have other questions. Let me know in the comment section and I'd be happy to assist you further. Take care.
