I've got the steps on how to update employee's last name in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and I'm happy to share them with you, @canoe.
You can go to the Employees section and update information from there.
- Go to Workers at the left pane, then select Employees.
- Under Employees, tap on the employee's name.
- Click Edit employee under the name.
- Go to the Personal info section, then update the last name from there.
- Tap Done to record the changes.
