First, let's access your account using a private browser or an incognito browser. This way, we can isolate this for possible browser-related and make sure that the payroll item we'd create will be saved successfully. You can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

• For Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Safari: Command + Option + P 

On the other hand, here's how to create a bonus payroll item:

1. Go to the Payroll or Workers menu.
2. Choose the Employees tab.
3. Double click on the employee's name.
4. From the Employee details section, select the pencil icon next to Pay.
5. Scroll down to the How much do you pay (employee's name) section.
6. Click the Add additional pay types link. 
7. Pick Bonus.
8. Select Done.

You can repeat the same steps for all employees that you'll be paying with a bonus. Once completed, you can now create a bonus paycheck. You can pay the bonus payroll item together with your regular payroll.

Also, you can create a paycheck for bonus alone.
