Online payroll done?

Hi JayneRae,

 

At the moment, all our platforms and services are working fine. Are you getting an error or something when using QuickBooks Online Payroll?

 

If you're receiving random errors or the pages are not loading properly, you can do the basic browser troubleshooting steps. To do this, you'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the payroll works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear the browser's cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if you get the same thing.

Online payroll done?

Really? No issues?  I was told by support on 12/31, after 2.5 hours on the phone , this had been an ongoing problem for the last week.  I have tried all the steps you suggested.  Any other suggestions other than changing payroll providers?

ERROR MESSAGE:  Required field not specified.

 

After 2.5 hours, support can not find which filed is not specified. I was told there is an ongoing investigation. 

I need to run payroll with Direct Deposit.   Is there a person who can actually solve this issue?

We want to help you process your payroll, however, there is an ongoing issue with QuickBooks Online Payroll. Our engineers are currently working on the fix to resolve the "Required field not specified" error.

 

Our team are working internally so we can't provide the exact turnaround time on when a resolution is released. Instead, they will send live updates about the status of the investigation through email. Since you already talked to a representative and was told about this, your account should be in the notification list now.

 

If you will not get updates from us, please contact our Support Team and request our agents to add your account to investigation number INV-53411.

 

I'm also adding the steps to contact us:

  1. Go to the (?) Help menu and click on Contact Us.
  2. Type the keyword Payroll Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
  3. On the next screen, scroll down to the Choose a way to connect with us section.
  4. Choose Start messaging to initiate a discussion with a live agent or Get a call for callbacks.

When using the messaging option, a small discussion box will open at the bottom right section of your monitor. An agent will be with you after filling in the information. See this:
