Payroll tax rejected

Hello there, nirenpatelcpa.


I've got the possible reasons why a payroll tax is rejected:

  • Incorrect PIN for e-filing
  • Credential Vault might be corrupted.
  • Updated the e-payment bank account in QuickBooks Desktop, but did not change it on the website. 

Let's make sure to verify the 10 digit PIN you received from the IRS after enrolling to e-file. Then, re-enter the information in QuickBooks Desktop and submit the filing again.
