Paystub error

I have done this numerous times and have spent literally hours on the phone with incompetent agents that have no idea how to fix this problem and constantly talk over me. No thanks.

Paystub error

I have found a work around that works for most employees.

Make sure that the check box for zero totals at year end is checked.  Then if you have carry over amounts, add those back in as the balance.  This seems to work for most employees.  II still have a few that this did not work for, but at least it works for most.  Unfortunately it doesn't fix the problem until the start of the next year.

Are you saying the paystub error has been corrected by Intuit, or that the topic is closed?

The problem is not accrual and available on a paystub, it it YTD.

Paystub error

Hi, SeaBkk.

I appreciate you for getting back to us about the  sick and vacation YTD in QuickBooks. I know how crucial being able to correct the YTD payroll.

Let's try to review the setup with the employees to check if there's something that we need to correct.

  1. Click Employees and select Employee Center.
  2. Double-click the name of the employee in the Employees section.
  3. Tap Payroll Info on the left side and select the Sick/Vacation tab at the upper-right corner.
  4. Now, let's check each field to see if there's something that we need to modify to correct the accruals.

If the same thing happens, let's perform the Verify and Rebuild tool to resolve data issues.

  1. Click File.
  2. Go to Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  3. If QuickBooks detected no problems, there's no further action needed. If you receive a message, "Your data has lost integrity," the file is damaged. Just continue to Rebuild Data to correct the problem.
  4. When you Rebuild Data, you'll receive a message to back up your company file, just click OK. The utility starts as soon as the backup is finished.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed."
  6. Run Verify Data again to check for remaining data damage.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team to further assist you with correcting your YTD.

Keep me posted if you have additional payroll concerns. I'll be right here to help.

Where do you go to check the box for zero totals at year end?

Also, Do your balances roll over each year? Ours do and I am not sure why there is just this issue on the paystubs. We just noticed it.
