Why does Quickbooks struggle with sending out my company's W-2 forms on time. It seem like every year we wonder if we will ever get them and then have to end up printing them from Quickbooks. It's February 13th and no one has received their W-2's yet. I wonder if Quickbooks will pay the $60 per employee penalty for sending them late. I guess they have someone that stands at the Pitney Bowes machine and prints postage dated for January 31 so it shows mailed out on time.
I understand how hard it must be for you, @RAD123.
I appreciate you taking the time to express your concern about your employees who haven't received their W-2 yet in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP). It's possible that there is a delay in the mailing of the W-2. For now, it is best to contact our Payroll support to further check what's causing this by accessing your account in a secure environment and determine possible solutions to your concern.
Here's how:
You can contact us from Mondays to Fridays, 6 AM to 6 PM PT, and Saturdays, 6 AM to 3 PM PT.
I'll also add these articles to help you print your W-2s and help you close out your current year and prepare for the new year in QuickBooks with your accountant.
Please feel free to drop a comment below If you have any other concerns about W2. I will answer them in any possible way.
If I am not at my computer with Quickbooks, there is no way to contact anyone. Is it possible to contact someone there any other way but through Quickbooks? If not, do better.
