I used to be able to export from either the Overview/Shortcut menu or the Gear icon/Payroll settings/Export transactions tab. But both of those options are no longer showing.
How do I export payroll data? I called customer service and was told this is a known issue and my name was added to the list and I would be updated. But that's another joke in & of itself, as I have never once received an update on any prior issues.

You're right. The investigation (INV-90292) regarding your issue is ongoing, which involves the missing tabs mentioned above that prevented you from exporting. I recommend contacting our Payroll Support once more. This allows them to investigate more thoroughly and provide a resolution. If they haven't done so yet, this also enables them to add your account to the list of affected users. Here's how:

My accountant decided to try adding the accounting portion to my QBO payroll instance. She decided immediately that it wouldn't work for our needs and cancelled it. Once the accounting portion was removed in QBO (after 1 month) then my export buttons reappeared.
