Quickbooks Online Payroll contractor report

I use Quickbooks Online Payroll ONLY, not Quickbooks online. I need to print a contractor payment report. How do I do that?

I'll show you how to print your contractor payment in QuickBooks Online Payroll, cassadygenealogy.

For Standalone Payroll Products, you can print or export your transactions. Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon in the top right corner
  2. Select Payroll settings
  3. Select Export transactions in the Export section
  4. A screen will appear letting you know how many transactions and of which type are being exported
  5. Select Export

For more details, please see this article: Export your Payroll Transactions.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you earn more about accessing your payroll tax forms and printing checks in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

I'll be around to assist you if you have any other QuickBooks questions or concerns, cassadygenealogy. Thanks for posting here in the Community. Have a good one!

I'm here to ensure that you're able to print a contractor's payment report, cassadygenealogy.

The Transaction List by Vendor report will show all the transactions made by the vendors. You can also customize the report to know the payments made by different vendors. To do this, please follow the steps provided below:

  1. Click Reports on the left menu.
  2. Search Transaction List by Vendor.
  3. Make sure to choose the correct Report period, then click Run report
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Under Rows/Columns, click Change Columns
  6. Tick the AP/PaidDue DateTermsVendorOpen BalanceTax Amount, and Taxable Amount.
  7. Tap Run report.
  8. Hit the printer icon on the left side to print.

You can check this article for additional information about the available reports in QuickBooks Online: Reports Included in your QuickBooks Online Subscription.

I've also added this article that'll help you save and memorize reports: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

I believe those are the instructions for using Quickbooks.   I do not have Quickbooks, so have no vendor report.   I only have Quickbooks Payroll online.     In any event I do not have that option under reports.

Joining the thread to help with your question about getting a payment report, cassadygenealogy.

For now, the QuickBooks Online stand-alone payroll only provides payroll-related reports. You'll want to go to the contractor's profile to see the list of payments given to the vendor. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll or Workers menu and proceed to the Contractors tab.
  2. Look for the name of the contractor and click on it.
  3. Proceed to the Payments tab to see all the checks given to the vendor.

Please know that QBO stand-alone payroll is a new product that we offer. You can send feedback or feature about this to improve your experience. Just click the Gear icon at the top and select Feedback.

It will be sent directly to our Product Development team to be reviewed for future updates. You can track feature all requests submitted through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
