QB is generating 10 emails per night to 1099 contractors telling them that their 1099 is ready. This started 4 days ago. Support has been no help. Anyone seeing this?

I have checked our reports and found no open investigation regarding the multiple 1099 email reminders. I'll share some steps to help you get this sorted out.
When you visit a website, your browser takes pieces of the page and stores them. Sometimes, these cache can become corrupted due to various incidents, which can unusual behaviors like what you are experiencing now.
To rule out any browser-related issues, you can open your QuickBooks Online account an incognito or private browser. When using this mode, your browsing history, search history, and cookies are not saved, which helps identify any browser problems.

You can also clear the cache on your regular browser. Clearing them is always a good idea because it helps your applications run better. Important: Please be sure to close the browser and restart it after clearing the cache and cookies. In addition, you can use a different supported browser.
If you're still getting 10 email reminders after performing the steps above, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team again. They have more tools to review your account and can work with our Tier 2 team to investigate this issue further.

Really, no open cases? That is extremely concerning as I have spent hours working with them trying to get this resolved over the last 3 days. They told me the case number is 1579777156 and assured me that is was "escalated". I was passed off SIX times on Wednesday to different people, sometimes back to the department where I was just coming from who told me to talk to someone else and then they just drop the chat. I've been on the phone with support, told they would call back with updates and nothing. This has cost hours of time this week and client issues.
In any case - I will review the steps that were outlined and I appreciate the thoughts but there is something that changed 4 nights ago that caused these to start going out. Our contractors are annoyed and it looks like the emails are from us. They are getting 10 every night around 9:21 PM. There is no way that cache issues could be causing this for all the people just happened to start at the same time and there isn't any way I can get them all to do all these user steps. Something happened in QB that is causing this nightly spamming.

A case is created every time you reach out to our phone or chat support teams. This is to document what happened to the interaction between you and our support agents. An investigation on the other hand is initiated when a number of customers or QuickBooks users are already experiencing the same issue.
At the moment, we can't see any other users who have reported to have same experience. This is the reason why the previous response indicated that there's no open investigation about 1099 reminder emails.

This has been happening to me. I get 10 emails a day reminding me to print my 1099 for a contractor I did business with who uses QuickBooks online. They can’t figure it out either. Makes me want to never recommend QB to anyone, especially since QB doesn’t want to fix it.

YES, this is happening to one of my vendors. Just spent hours getting the run around on tech support. No one will or can help.
10 emails per day at 3:25am PST. My vendor is over it! Can't mark as spam since he's a QB user. Today he forwarded one to me, and I opted him out using the link.
I am also receiving these emails. 10 emails a night for the past 5 nights. I was on chat with QB support for 45 minutes and they have no clue. She said she would let their tech support know but who knows. So frustrating. My case id is [removed]
My vendor is extremely irritated as they are receiving 10 emails, and just as others have posted, it looks like the email is coming from my company. What is QB doing about this???? I need a resolution ASAP!

To avoid overdue forms and payments, QuickBooks sends reminders to all of its customers. I know that it's unpleasant to receive multiple copies of the same email communication. And I want to stop this from happening again to your contractor.
As this sounds like a problem with the product, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Care Team for assistance. They will examine the issue and send a ticket to our engineers for further review. You can follow the steps provided by RenjolynC above. Make sure to contact them within business hours to ensure a swift response.

It happened again today!!!
Very interesting. Yesterday, I used the QBO Vendors module to delete the vendor's email address, hoping that would stop the emails. Today, the email address has returned to his Vendor record!!!
I deleted his email address on Friday too. So this is twice that the system added back his email address.
