I appreciate posting your concern with your class tracking for your payroll transactions here in the Community, Dpb2. Let me share details regarding this matter.
If you have configured your Class tracking for your payroll transaction as - I use the same class for all your employees, then all your employee payroll transactions will be posted in one class. Kindly see the screenshot below as a reference:

Furthermore, since you want to assign your payroll transactions to different classes, I recommend visiting your Payroll Settings and see if you've set it as - I use different classes for different employees.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear Icon, then select Payroll Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom till you see Accounting, then click on the pencil icon.
- On the Class tracking section, tap the pencil icon again to open a panel to configure the setup.
- Mark the I used different classes for different employees button to assign different classes for various employees.
- Once finished, select Save.
Henceforward, in correcting your current payroll, you can delete and recreate it. However, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll support if you're using Direct deposit. They can guide you through the proper process of the subject.
