Just got a phone call from one of my client that their employees did not get paid today. Any one knows what is going on?
We did not have our payroll go through either.
We know how critical each paycheck is to your team, @shiju1 @Rom1 @1231 4606 8932 424
We were alerted to a third-party issue with direct deposit processing this morning that has delayed the deposit of employees' paychecks into their accounts. Our QuickBooks Online Payroll Team already resolved the issue. Rest assured, your employees will get the funds in their bank account by end of the day today.
Please visit this page to know the latest updates and information on the issue: QuickBooks Status.
Thank you for your patience as we focus to ensure your employees’ funds are available as soon as possible. Also, don't hesitate to click the Reply button if you have follow-up questions about your payroll. I'm happy to answer them. Be safe.
We were first advised three hours ago that the issue had been resolved and by the end of today the money should show up in the employee's account. What is the end of the day? I am on pacific time and it's 12:46pm. I am trying to assure the employees that it will happen and do not wish to have a back-up plan.
This is not the impression I want you to experience, @Jblu.
Rest assured your employees should expect to see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day today.
Individual financial institution policies determine the exact time direct deposits are posted, but employees should receive their direct deposit before 5 PM their local time. Intuit cannot guarantee that direct deposit funds will be available in the bank accounts of employees by the paycheck date. Advise your employees to check with their banks to find out when funds are posted.
Thank you for your patience as we focus to ensure your employees’ funds are available as soon as possible.
But the funds have not even been withdrawn from the business bank account? How can funds be deposited into employees accounts if it has not even been withdrawn from the bank account of the employer yet?
I know that this hasn't been easy for you and your employees, alannab.
Please know that the direct deposit issue has already been resolved. You don't have to do anything on your end. Rest assured, your employees will see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day.
We thank you for your patience and time to post in the Community. Have a great rest of the weekend!
