Can I do 941x form through quickbooks

Great to have you here in the Community, @salonenvyinc

Currently, the filing of the 941x form is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You'll need to file it manually.

However, you can print a payroll report and use it as your basis when filing 941. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Reports menu and search for the Payroll tax and wage summary report.
  2. Filter the dates according to your preferences.
  3. Click on Apply.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow from the upper right corner of your screen.
  5. Choose Print or save PDF.
  6. Select Print.

Once finished, you can manually file it outside of QuickBooks.

You can also visit this article to learn how to manage payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

You can always get back to me if you have further questions about managing taxes in QBO. I'll be more than happy to assist. Take care always!

That's odd! It's a rather basic form that has been available in QuickBooks Desktop for at least a decade.  Desktop will even pre-fill it for you like the regular 941.

There are so many reasons QBO is worse and this is one of them.  ERC has been going on for at least a year, and you still haven't provided well paying customers a simple form in Online.

This coupled with if I moved all my customers online, I'll be charged separately for every company I provide payroll services for on top of the already more expensive accounting price.

It may be time for me to make a switch end of year.
