Yes, you can create a partial direct deposit in QuickBooks Online (QBO), 7PG.
QBO allows you to run multiple payrolls in a pay period. Here are the steps for the first direct deposit paycheck.
For the second paycheck, if you select the same pay period, you'll see the Create another check option. And, you can also choose Direct Deposit or Check as the payment method.
When you use direct deposit, be sure to consider processing times when creating and approving checks. Also, if your worker doesn't see their funds after this time, there may be a reason.

All you need to do is edit their payment method section within QuickBooks Online to ensure that they're getting paid by direct deposit or paper check. Also, to get paid weekly, you can go through the Employment details section of the employees information to edit the pay schedule for them.
