When paying payroll taxes, the basis for the tax period is the pay period of your paychecks. Since you want to delay the payment for June, yes, the system should prevent making a payment automatically on July 15.
Also, you can review the existing paychecks, pay period end dates, and taxes using a report. I recommend running the Payroll Detail report to view the necessary information.
Here's how:
- On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
- Select Payroll Details.
- Choose the date.
