My employees did not receive their Direct Deposit today either.
Hello, manage user and MG1289.
I'll lay down some helpful details on why your employees haven't received their funds yet.
Did you process the direct deposit checks yesterday? It was a banking holiday (Veteran's Day), so the funds will be deposited on the next banking day.
You can reach out to your employees and let them check their bank.
You can check this article if you need more details: How do federal holidays affect my direct deposit?.
Though, other causes for the delay are the following:
If there's an issue with the employee's bank details, the direct deposit will be rejected and you will receive the funds 2-3 business day after the pay date. You can pay your employees with a check in the meantime.
If you've processed your direct deposit earlier before the holiday, I would recommend contacting our support. They can trace where the funds went and ensure your employees will be able to receive their pay.
Here's how to reach them:
After knowing the status of the direct deposit funds, do you need to check on your current payroll liabilities? You can run a variety of payroll reports in QuickBooks. Check out this article if you need a guide: Run payroll reports.
If you need more help managing your employees or with your payroll account, please let me know. I'll get back to you with the details and guides.
I talked with QB Onilne Help. Since I did the payroll on a Holiday, which is after the cut-off time, Direct Deposit Payroll will land in the employee's accounts at 5pm, Pacific Time today, Friday, 11/12/2021. I hope this helps everyone.
