Hi there, Cents404.
Let me help correct the employer address that appears on the employee's paystub. You may see three different addresses in the Account and Settings. These are:
Aside from the address on the General tax info, you also need to check if the Legal address is correct. QuickBooks Online will use this address for filing purposes. If these addresses are the same, make sure to check the Same as company address box.
Here's how:
Make sure to make the changes before creating a paycheck. Otherwise, you'll have to delete, and re-create it. That way, the correct address will appear on the paystub.
If you're unable to delete the paycheck, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll Team. They can correct the paycheck and enter the correct address on the paystub.

this is still not helping
i don't have a "customer" facing address... i have a "member" facing address and "company" address, and "legal" address.
i have tried both checking "same as" address... i've also tried changing the address manually to the same address...
every paycheck STILL does not change and continues to have the WRONG address on there...
this is VERY FRUSTRATING!
also, contacting someone is nearly impossible... you spend 15 minutes clicking around and no phone number or anyone to help. the more i use quickbooks the more frustrated i get!! i pay too much for all this
I understand your frustration at the moment, Cents404.
Let's make sure the employer address on the paystub is correct. There is one more setting you need to check to correct the address.
You need to check the employee's work location and make sure the correct state is selected. If not, you need to enter the correct one. Here's how:
After you add or change your employee’s work location, you may be required to complete the new state tax setup or local tax setup.
If your company moved to a new state, or you want your secondary work location state to be the primary one. Here's what you need to do.
The new primary work location address appears in your company legal address in Payroll settings. Also, please contact our QuickBooks Live Team during support hours from M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday 6 AM to 3 PM PT.
Stay in touch with me if you have follow-up questions. I'll be right here to answer your payroll concerns.
All the work location addresses are correct. I have checked them all serveral times before I posted my question. what is the direct number I can call for someone???
Hello there, @Cents404. I appreciate your update.
I can see the urgency of getting your payroll issue fixed. Let me route you to the best support who can help you correct the employer address on your employees' paystubs in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to make sure your data and transactions are accurate.
Since your payroll issue continues even after making sure all your addresses (work location, company, and legal) are correct, I encourage you to reach out to our Payroll Care team. They can create a case to further investigate why the employer's address is incorrect on your employees' paystubs and guide you with a fix.
We're unable to provide a direct phone number to call or contact our Payroll Care team. You'll have to log in to your QBO account and utilize the Help (?) option. To do this, here's how:
Once everything is all set, you may also want to check out one of our Help articles as your reference to guide you in paying or filing your state and federal payroll taxes using QBO Payroll: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in Online Payroll.
You can keep me posted on how it goes in the comments below. If you have other payroll concerns or questions about managing employees and their paystubs in QBO, I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @Cents404.
Having the same exact issue and followed every step given. Still doesn't work. This shouldn't be this hard for something so common.
