Confirmed: Quickbooks support was able to update it with a 45 minute call since it cannot be updated online. Hopefully this helps someone else encounting this issue.
Also, Intuit Quickbooks Desktop did NOT update the Alaska State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate and wage base update for 2024. Payroll Update 22401 does not include Alaska.
A new Payroll Update is required immediately for Intuit to add Alaska's base wage rate of $49,700 and Employee Contribution Rate of 0.5%
An hour of time with QBD Help did not help.

Alaska issued new SUI rate and wage base in December 2023. Intuit should have included this in update 22401. Here's the link

This same issue happened in 2022/2023 tax year transition. It is not acceptable for Intuit to continue excluding timely Alaska tax updates
Rhode Island also not updated - SMH
I'm having a similar issue in Arizona. My rate is below the .07% threshold and it wont let me update for 2024. I really don't want to make a 45 minute phone call.
I understand the frustration of encountering a similar issue in Arizona. It seems that the system is not allowing you to update your rate for 2024 despite it being below the 0.07% threshold. I'd be here to help you resolve them, Jessica1.
If the issue continues even after entering the correct details, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the necessary tools to investigate the cause and can also escalate the matter to our engineering team by submitting a ticket if needed.

Yes, The update for Alaska rate needs to be done asap! .50% for 2024. This very frustrating!
Frustrated in AK also!
When we are editing the AK SUI tax rate, should we put the total and assume QB will separate into employee/employee? or do we enter just the employer portion?
Going on two hours with "support" to try to figure it out with no answer.
