I appreciate the efforts that you've made to find the old DE 9 and DE 9C forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Matt-Makke. Allow me to help you find these tax forms.
We can access and print previously filed tax forms in QBO through the Payroll Tax Center. The steps vary based on whether you choose to e-file the form or print and file them manually.
If you have e-filed your tax form, or we filed for you, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to the Taxes tab and select Payroll Tax.
- Choose the Filings tab.
- To view past forms filings, select Resources. Then, click Archived Forms and Filings.
- Search for the DE 9 and DE 9C forms in the search box. You can also adjust the date range.

However, if you submitted the forms outside of QuickBooks and cannot track them in the Archived Forms window, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support team for assistance. The support team will check if they can retrieve past forms three years from now.
