HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've spend hours on the phone with EIGHT different "specialists" trying to change my payroll subscription.  Disconnected several times after being on hold for hours.  Still haven't been able to change my subscription.  This is unacceptable!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hi there, Kristi.

I want you to know that this isn't the kind of experience I want you to have while reaching out to our Support Team. I want to ensure you'll be able to change your payroll subscription as soon as possible.

QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) allows you to change your current payroll service and gives you different options to meet your payroll needs. You can do it manually following these steps:

  1. Open your QBDT file.
  2. Go to the Employees menu, select My Payroll Service.
  3. Click on Change Payroll Service Options.
  4. A new window will display your payroll options. Select Learn More to know more about different payroll services available for you. If you are upgrading to Assisted payroll, you will need to work with an Assisted Payroll Setup Specialist to complete the activation of your Assisted Service.
  5. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
  6. Hit Proceed to Checkout to proceed with the order.
  7. Select or change the current Payment Method.
  8. Enter the Card Security Code, then select Submit.
  9. Tap on Continue, then select Next.
  10. Click on Return to QuickBooks.

Once you've changed your payroll service, make sure to run payroll updates before creating your employee's paychecks.

However, if you need assistance with our Support Team for the process, you can always get back to them through chat or call. From there, a live representative can open the previous cases you had, and change your payroll subscription for you.

When everything is in place, you're now ready to process your payroll entries with your new subscription. I'm adding this article for more hints about the payroll tasks in QBDT: Help on common payroll topics.

Let me know how else I can help you with QuickBooks or payroll by adding a comment below. I'm just a post away to provide additional assistance. Keep safe!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a Pro Advisor.  Just wanted to update a client's credit card expiration date.

It took multiple hours and phone calls.

They are rude and of no help!

And I PAY to be a Pro Advisor!
