How do I change the year shown in the edit employee screen for Sick and Vacation Hours Available/Used? I'm not ready to close my fiscal year yet for financials, but need to change the Sick and Vacation banks for 2019. My system is still showing 2018.

Hello there, smeader.
Good to see you here in QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help and provide some insights about Sick and Vacation hours in QuickBooks.
Are you referring to the Hours available/used as of (date) on your employee's payroll information? If so, this date is the last day of pay period of the latest paycheck. Once you create a new paycheck with a pay period of 2019, QuickBooks will automatically change the date.
For additional reference, you can check this article to learn more about pay sick and vacation time.
Please know that I'm just a post away if you have any other questions about Sick and Vacation hours for your employee. I'll be around to help.

I have created two pay periods now in 2019 and my Hours available/used as of (date) still shows 2018. How do I change it to 2019?

However, if the problem continues after performing these steps, you can try using the QuickBooks Diagnostic tool to verify and fix issues with your company file. For more information on how to do that, please check out this article: QuickBooks Diagnostic Doctor.
If the issue persists, I'd suggest giving our Customer Care Team a call. This way they'll be able to pull up your account in a secure space and verify what's causing the issue.
To do that:
That should do it, @tstovall.
