How do i cancel payroll?

Yes, you can cancel payroll that you already run depending on the processing state that you use. To clarify, are you getting any errors when trying to delete it? Deleting or Voiding paychecks in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is easy. As long as the payroll is not processed yet, you can still delete it. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Payroll menu.
2. Choose the Employees tab.
3. Go to the Paycheck list and set the date range.
   
4. Choose a paycheck(s) you'd like to delete or void, then select Delete or Void.
   
   
5. Click Yes to confirm.
