Regarding contact name, which QB says is optional, I am trying to delete contact name from 1096 and QB refuses. I deleted the info in the box but it printed anyway. Then, I changed it and QB still printed the prior name. Where is QB pulling that info from so that I can get rid of it?

The contact name on the 1096 form is based on the master admin of your company file. To change this, you'll need to update the admins' information under the Manage Users section on your account.

Once done, you can proceed in printing your 1096 with correct contact person.
