You can pull up the Employee Details report to display these data, BrianMC.

Aside from their name, address, and SSN, it also shows your employee's deduction and tax information. Here's how to run the report:

  1. Click the Reports tab at the left pane.
  2. Enter and select Employee Details in the Find report by name field.
  3. You can filter it to a specific Employee, Work Location, and Workers's Comp Class.
  4. Click Run Report.

If you want to export or print this report, click the Share drop-down and select either of the options.

How do I create a report that will include the employee's name, address, and social security number?

Good afternoon,

Just wondering if there is a way to filter the report by if the employee was paid in 2022.  Trying to run a report for the employer to check the employees addresses before we generate W2s for 2022.

Thanks,

-Stacy

Hi there, @SouthernStacy.

Currently, there isn't a way to run a report to show the payroll details and employee information in one view. As a workaround, you can run two different reports and manually verify if the employee was paid in 2022.

Firstly, you can run the Employee Details report and export it to Excel. To do so, you can follow the steps provided by my colleague Adrian_A above.

Once done, run the Payroll Details report and select Last year from the date range drop-down. Then, export it again to Excel.

From the exported Excel file, compare both reports and verify whose employees are paid in 2022.

You may want to learn more about running payroll reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This article will guide you through the process: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Feel free to come back to this post if you need further assistance running reports in QBO. I'll be standing by to your response.

How do I create a report that will include the employee's name, address, and social security number?

I found a better way actually - I used the Tax Report feature under Reports > Employees and Payroll > More Reports in Excel.  I chose W2 data and ran the report for last year.  This shows everyone's 2022 data, I just edited the reports as necessary to give to the client to check their addresses.

Thanks so much for your input, hope this helps someone else!!
