It’s good to have you back with us, LDO. I’m excited to continue our collaborative efforts. To ensure a smooth and efficient export process, I’d like to clarify a few key points that will help us move forward seamlessly.
There are two options we can consider to migrate your data. While a direct transfer of QuickBooks Online (QBO) payroll data to your accounting software isn't attainable, utilizing the available methods will ensure the effective transfer of your data between the two software.
The first and easiest option is through a third-party application. You can search for an app tailored to your needs and preferences. Since you only use QuickBooks Online Payroll, you'll need to visit the appropriate website. This will allow you to search for applications suitable to your needs. Refer to this website for more info: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/en-us/.
Before proceeding with any integration, it's crucial to ensure that your chosen accounting software supports this type of connection, as it will be the receiving party for your payroll data. Compatibility is key to successful integration, so take the time to verify that the software can seamlessly accept data from the third-party app you select.
The second method is to export your QBO Payroll data. However, you'll have to confirm with your accounting software regarding their import options. If they have this option, you can follow AdonL's recommendation about exporting your payroll information.
Finally, regarding your question about specific reports, this depends on your particular needs and preferences. To help you make an informed decision, I recommend reviewing the comprehensive list of reports available in the article mentioned above. This resource provides a detailed overview of various financial payroll data options. Visit the List of Payroll Reports section on this article: Run payroll reports.

Your questions are important, and I want to ensure you have all the information you need to proceed confidently with your data export process.
