I can' get updates for Lake Michigan Credit Union it keeps sending me in a loop to get a code for LMCU .

We have an ongoing issue about the code loop for Lake Michigan Union, @les10,

Rest assured, our product engineers are working for permanent resolution so you can get back up and running.

Meanwhile, you can manually bring in the transactions in QuickBooks Online. I'll guide you with quick and easy steps to achieve this.

First, pick a data range for the transactions you wish to import to prevent duplicates. Here's how:

  1. Got to the Accounting menu, and then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the bank for credit card account you want to upload more transactions into, and then choose View register
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and then take note of the date of the oldest transaction. In many cases, the oldest transaction is the opening balance

Second, you'll have to download the transactions from your bank. Here are the steps:

  1. Sign in to your back or credit card website, and then follow your bank's transactions on how to download transactions to your computer.
  2. Ensure that date range for the download is at least one day before your oldest transaction.
  3. Download them, and make sure to save the file somewhere you can easily find like your desktop.

Once done, please refer to Steps 3 to 5 of this resource to continue to the import process: Manually upload bank transactions

Also, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online support team so you'll be added to the list of affected users. When prompts ask for details or if you get an agent, give this reference number (INV-49055).

To ensure your issue gets address right away. please check our support hours

To prevent duplicates and ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly, you'll want to categorize and match them. You also have the option to reconcile them so it matches your real-life bank statements.

Feel free to leave a reply in the comment section if you have more QuickBooks concerns and I'll be here to help you out. Take care always.
