Hello myraermita-sbcgl,
You may be experiencing a browser-related issue that caused a missing W-2 in 2021. Let me help you.
We'll do the browser troubleshooting steps to see if this issue is caused by a full cache. A cache, on the other hand, stores your browsing history so they load quickly when you revisit a page. However, a full one can cause unusual behaviors in QuickBooks.
To start, you'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.
If the correct form shows up as an option, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if we get the same thing.
On the other hand, let me just include these articles about the form. You might need them in the future:

RE: Please check your list of employees to see if you have inactivated those you paid in 2021. If you have marked them as terminated, please change their profile to active for a moment. Then, you can pull up your form.
Why? All terminated employees who worked in 2021 should get a W-2. We shouldn't have to um-terminate them first. That makes no sense.
I have same problem This solution did not help.
