I'll share with you the options on how you can reset your payroll PIN, @dpalermo1

If you still have the old PIN, you can change it in the Payroll Account Management Portal. It must be 8 to 12 characters. Then, there should have no combination of letters and numbers and no special characters, such as $, %, #. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to Employees from the top menu.
  2. Select My Payroll Service.
  3. Choose Account/Billing Information.
  4. Log in to your Intuit Account.
  5. Go to the Payroll Info section.
  6. Select Update PIN under Payroll service PIN
  7. Enter your old PIN.
  8. Create a new PIN and then confirm it.
  9. Click Submit

You can also change the PIN in the Send Payroll Data window. You must log in as an admin to the program before performing this action. For more information, see the Method 2 section through this article: Change PIN for Processing Direct Deposit Payroll

If it's lost or forgotten, you'll have to download the PIN request form so you can reset it. It must be signed by either the primary or secondary principal. Then, indicate your company's EIN and attach a photocopy of your government issued ID. Then, send the requirements via FAX or email as seen in the Reset a lost or forgotten PIN section through the article I provided above.

Once done, you'll need to contact our support team to get the new PIN.

I'm also adding this link for you: Payroll and Workers. This website covers all related topics about managing your employees, running payroll, and filing tax forms.

Just drop a comment below if you need anything else. Have a great day, @dpalermo1

I have tried going thru the payroll in tab. I have forgotten the previous pin.

You can send a request form, ajsalamon.

As shared by my colleague above, you can request for a new pin if you lost or forgotten the old one.

Before doing so, make sure that the form has the following;

  • A signature of the Primary or Secondary Principal Officer.
  • The EIN (Employer Identification Number) of the company.
  • Any government issued ID of the Primary Principal.

Afterward, you’ll have to send it either through FAX or Email.

You can use this link to download the form: Send Request Form.

I'll always be right here if you need more help.
