Hi byrdseyeviewpro,
I can understand how you feel about the product if you experience challenges. Can you share with us more details so we can help you? Thanks in advance.
I agree. QBO is a pain in my butt and Intuit just keeps raising the prices. I have had so many things go wrong over the years it's ridiculous. I even had to have them move my account to a new email a few years back to resolve a QBOA issue and they ended up putting me under/with someone else's company. Now when I go to download my ProSeries software I see my account times two and some other accountants account. Bank links will skip transactions or double them sometimes. Just today I was trying to accept an invite from a new client and the link wouldn't work and I had to call support. Last week I had to call support because they filed a clients 940 incorrectly. It's not just QBO either. Last year I signed up for their practice management and it was a TOTAL disaster. During onboarding they duplicated all of my clients in my QBO and in the practice management app and after three months of going back and forth with a case manager they still couldn't fix it AND they were charging me the whole time. I got a refund but they couldn't even do that right. If I remember correctly it ended up like $7 in my favor. New this year you have to purchase a subscription to use the desktop version. It's just highway robbery all around. I honestly don't even know why I stick with Intuit products. Oh! And it irritates the bleep out of me how they keep trying to sell their product like people no longer need a bookkeeper. Every year I get at least one or two new clients whose books are a complete disaster because Intuit has sold them a "do it yourself" bookkeeping system. Then they turn around and try to sell the bookkeepers that they need to become consultants because automation is the future. It's all crock.
