I voided a paycheck. I need to re-issue a new paycheck, but "there are adjustment checks associated with this paycheck", and now I can't delete it. What should I do?

Should have deleted the paycheck, but I voided it instead. Paycheck has not been processed, and no paycheck has been created since.

Thank you! When I first tried to make a replacement check, I wasn't able to...was told I could only "add onto the existing check." But the last time I tried, I was able to create one. Thank you, @JessT !

Hi LA,

Thank you for taking the time to post today. I'll provide information about your voided check.

When you void a paycheck, QuickBooks will create an adjustment check to zero out its value. You won't need to delete it because it doesn't have a value anymore. Instead, you can create a replacement paycheck.

If you have other questions, you can always go back to this thread. Have a good one!
