I WAS CHARGED ATHE PAYROLL FEE AND I DID NOT WANT IT. HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A REFUND?

Hey there, @usersloppytoppyfood.

If you have recently subscribed to QuickBooks Online Payroll, you can still cancel it as long as you didn't use its features. Then, contact our Payroll Support Team so you can get a refund.

Let me show you the steps on how to cancel your payroll service in QuickBooks.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click Billing & Subscription.*
  3. In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
  4. Fill out the online cancelation form to complete your cancelation.

Please take note that you have to sign in as a Master Admin to access the Payroll section in the Billing & Subscription tab.

Once canceled, you can now reach out to our QuickBooks Payroll specialist. This way, they can process your refund request.

Additionally, you will have access to your payroll data 6 months after the cancelation, unless you asked us to complete your annual filings. In that case, you have until June of the following year. Be sure to export and save copies of your reports before canceling your subscription.

I'm just a reply away if you have other questions with the QuickBooks Online Payroll. Just add the details of your concerns in this thread and I'll help you out. Have a great day.
