To review the reason your payroll account is on hold, you can check the email sent to you with the subject "Important: Urgent issue with the payroll account for [Business name]". This includes all the details you need to know. I CURRENTLY HAVE 3 WEEKS AND 16 HOURS IN TRYING TO CHANGE A ACCOUNT THAT PAYROLL IS DRAWN OUT OF.  I CHANGE TO CHECK TO PAY EMPLOYEES AND THEY PUT MY PAYROLL ACCOUNT ON HOLD.    QUICKBOOK SUCKS.  I HAVE HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM IN THE PAST MONTH I AM LOOKING AT OTHER SERVICES.    I HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS BUT THEY CANNOT EVEN CHANGE A BANK ACCOUNT.   I NEED TO TALK TO THE BRAIN SURGON FOR QUICKBOOKS.  TIME IS MONEY AND THEY ARE WASTING MY TIME   NO SERVICE   LIES AND LIES   YOU OWE ME $1700

Hi there, mkidd60120.  I'm here to share some possible reasons why your payroll account is on hold,

 

Know that your transaction or account is on hold to protect you and the payee while it's in the process on our end. As mentioned by my colleague above, you'll receive an email once your account is on hold. This will explain everything that you need to know. You'll have to make sure to send the necessary documents to keep your payroll working again

 

In case you can't find the email in your Spam or Junk folder, I'd recommend contacting our  Customer Care Team. This way, they can check and investigate your account to determine the reason why it's on hold. 

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
  5. Select between Send a messageSchedule an appointment, or Get a callback.
