Is there a way to run an annual report showing employee hire and termination dates?

I know how useful it is to easily track your employees' hire and termination dates, SB55. I'm here to help you with that.

Let's run the Employee Details report in QuickBooks Online to view your employees' hire and termination dates. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Type Employee Details in the search box, then enter.
  3. Click the drop-down menu under Employee, then choose Inactive.
  4. Click on Run Report.
  5. In the Personal Info section, you can see the details.

If you're unable to see the termination date, I'd recommend reviewing if the employee's entered info were correct. I'll show you how:

  1. From the Payroll menu, select Employees.
  2. From the Active Employees drop-down, choose Inactive Employees.
  3. Find and select each employee that was terminated.
  4. Select the pencil icon beside the Employment section.
  5. In the Status section, make sure the Termination date is entered.

  6. Click on Done.

Once verified, run the report again. Also, please make sure you select Inactive Employees.

Aside from running the Employee Details report, you can also run other payroll reports in QuickBooks Online. This helps you view useful information about your business and employees.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance with your other payroll tasks, SB55. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
