I am a small one person company and I have been using QB 2014 to do my payroll manually for years. I recently tried to manually generate a paycheck and all the existing manual payroll options appear to have been removed from my QB program! How can I get the manual payroll functions back? Is it legal to reach in reduce the functionality of a purchased product? Any help would be appreciated.
You can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 to upgrade your version if required.
How do I roll back my QB2014 to include the ability to manually generate paychecks like I have done for years? For Intuit to reach in and disable core functions that I bought a perpetual license for and thereby make it so I cannot even pay myself unless I upgrade seems unethical at best. Please let me know how to roll back to an older revision so I can continue to use the core functionality that I paid for and that I have been using for years.
@GebelAlainaM Well mysteriously today I opened QB2014 and the manual payroll feature is back on. Perhaps Intuit developed a conscience and restored it? I have turned off automatic updates to keep this from happening again. This cost me several hours of work and has me eagerly searching for a non-Intuit solution to my accounting needs.
