Why don't my changes to the employee in QB Online save? I check the National paid sick leave pay code and the Health Insurance, and the amount. There is no box to SAVE/CLOSE this entry, and when I go back it is not on the employee profile and does not come up when I run Payroll.

There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently-accessed page resources or damaged. This causes the Save and close button not to appear when saving the entry.
To better isolate this issue, let's try accessing QuickBooks Online (QBO) on a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues.

Then, try setting up the employee's paid leave affected by COVID-19 again. Just make sure we choose the pay leave type and hourly rate. This ensures you to accurately record the employees paid leave and track the tax liabilities to get the proper reimbursement.

If it works, clear your browser's cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. Overtime collection of data can create corruption, but removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

This was brilliant, thank you! I rarely get a plausible answer here until about the 5th link. With 25+ years in QB, I know how to manage the basics and find instructions. But in following those instructions your answer was the light in the tunnel.
