Not all my active employees that are paid weekly show up when i try to run payroll

It's my priority to ensure your employees are paid on time, dcgrass178.

 

To see all your active employees when running payroll, I'd suggest checking their employment status and pay schedule. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and then select Employees.
  2. Select All Employees from the drop-down.

  3. Double-click on the name of the employees that aren't showing up on the Run payroll window.
  4. From the Employment section, click the Pencil icon.
  5. Hover to the Employment tab.
  6. Click the Status drop-down arrow.
  7. Choose Active, then Done.

After that, let's check the employees' pay schedules.

  1. Double-click on the name of the employee.
  2. Scroll down to the How often do you pay (employee's name)? section.
  3. From there, check if the schedule is correct.

  4. Click Save, then Done.

 

If the issue persists, I'd recommend accessing QuickBooks Online via a private window. This helps us determine if there's an issue with the browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P 

 

Once signed in, try running payroll again. If all your active employees are now visible, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.

 

You can also open your account using other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.
