Our treasurer resigned. She has since been deleted as the accountant but still holds the primary admin role. Can she still transfer this role to another?

Ask her to login as the Primary Admin and transfer the role to someone else.

She said she can't because I deleted her as an accountant. I can still see that she's a user and is listed as primary admin. I realize that I can submit a request to change it but have to wait until I'm verified. I'd like to go the easy route but feeling maybe that's not possible.

In QuickBooks, if the primary admin isn't available to transfer the role to you, you can handle this by sending a 
request form to our account protection team. Following the standard procedure of transferring admin roles is necessary to protect your account and eliminate potential data breaches or other security risks. The documents needed for this vary depending on your business type.

 

For Sole Proprietorship, you may need to prepare: 

 

  • Your photo ID (driver's license, state-issued ID, or passport).
  • Your business license.

After the completion of the transfer, we will promptly assess your case. Following the review, you will receive an email update from no_response@intuit.com informing you of the status of your request. If the admin role transfer is successful, sign in using the provided email address the next time you access QuickBooks. If the transfer is unsuccessful, we will communicate the reasons and guide the necessary steps.

The request link to change primary admin is not working. It’s just frozen and doesn’t allow to continue through the questions. Is there an email to contact for assistance or support with this?
