Payroll Error

We have QuickBooks Enterprise Contractor 19.0.-  The Desktop version. When someone is working with anything pertaining to Payroll, including employees, it will not allow anyone else to use anything in the payroll feature.  It will only allow one user to use anything related to payroll at a time. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you

Payroll Error

No, there is no way to change this. Payroll is a single-user feature, even when QB is in multi-user mode.  There's a short list of similar features.

Payroll Error

What about when it says someone is currently in payroll but the person that was in there is no longer in there? The person QB says is in there has to shutdown QB and restart.
