You can only import or export lists of accounts, products and services, vendors, and customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You need to manually transfer payroll entries into the surviving entity. To do so, use the payroll reports in QBO and export them to Excel. This way, you'll have a visual copy with the correct details for your guidance.
Let me show you how:
- Go to Reports from the left menu.
- Select the exact reports you need under Payroll. You can also refer to this article: Run payroll reports to choose one.
- Click the Share drop-down menu, then pick Export to Excel.
