Buy nowI received the error that my payroll is not syncing. I discovered that when payroll was run Quickbooks took it from a bank account that it duplicated instead of the actual bank account that payroll is mapped to. I tried to merge these accounts together, however, the payroll still won't sync.
I'm wondering:
1. How to tix the sync payroll error
2. Why is Quickbooks creating this duplicate bank account (this is the 3rd time it has happened-but first time the error can't be fixed).
I have been on hold all day today and a few days ago and no agents have been able to solve the problem.
I got you, quiksilver.
May I know what error code did you receive? This will help me find a more accurate solution for that specific error.
Let's go over some simple troubleshooting techniques, and ensure the problem isn't with your browser. The cause of this strange behavior is probably local internet cache files.
Start by using a private browser to log into QuickBooks. Here's how to do it:
If it works, they need to delete the cache in their browser. Here's a link to an article that can assist them with the process: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browsers to be through.
Since you're working with payroll, you might want to check this article for some links about the payroll tasks in QBO: QuickBooks Payroll help article hub.

This is the error I received:
paycheck sync error
I know what the problem is. As stated in the initial post: Quickbooks took payroll out of an erroneous duplicate account instead of the correct account. One of the agents deleted this account to try to help me but now the payroll won't sync. I'm trying to:
1. sync the payroll
2. Figure out why Quickbooks keeps adding this account
I tried what you suggested above and it was unsuccessful in solving either of these problems. Would love any other suggestions. Thanks!
