Quickbooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll

You people are absolutely ridiculous.  Does it ever end?  First of all, people are having trouble getting direct deposit confirmation emails, sometimes the direct deposit doesn't even work properly and now you are saying that the fee for the direct deposit checks is going from $1.75 to $4.00 per check.  You do realize that some people who use the direct deposit platform are small businesses.  They cannot afford to pay this!

On top of that you are doing away with enhanced payroll for any new businesses.  If we have any new clients, we are not going to tell them to pay an exorbitant fee for Quickbooks Desktop nor will we tell them to purchase Quickbooks On Line which is not user friendly and people hate it, we will tell them to purchase a different bookkeeping package.  Congratulations on upsetting people all across the United States.  I hope you are happy!

On the other hand, we remain compliant by sending direct deposit confirmation emails once you process direct deposits in our system. If you haven't received email confirmations, I recommend checking your spam and junk folders to narrow down the result.

 

 If you're not finding it, you may have to unblock or add the following service-related email addresses as "safe senders" in your email account:

 

  • intuit@eq.intuit.com
  • do_not_reply@intuit.com
  • quickbooks@notification.intuit.com

 

You can also add these emails to your address book, allow list, contact list, or safe sender list.

Quickbooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll

Very well said.  I am an accountant and many of our rural clients do not even have internet access for QuickBooks; nor do they want their data to be "in the cloud".  The online QuickBooks is horrible--I don't care what year it is.  The financial reports look very unprofessional.  I had an issue with one of my clients that originally had the online QuickBooks--when you pulled up a "sales tax liability report" and then tried double-clicking into the non-taxable sales for a breakdown of which lines to post the non-taxable portion on the Wisconsin sales tax (there are several lines, but this particular client had some exempt sales with certificates of exemption on file, but also out-of-state which is on a different non-taxable line), the entries that came up that should have totaled to the "non-taxable" total did not show the breakdown correctly.  What came up did not add up to the total non-taxable sales . . . major glitch!  Intuit's prices are getting way out of line for small businesses.  Their concept of switching everyone to online is not going to fly with our office, or many of our clients.

Firstly, I suggest that you review all the non-taxable transactions that are tracked. Also, it is important to review the setup for the items to ensure proper tracking when running a Sales Tax Liability Report.
