Reactivate Subscription

Welcome to the Community. Helping you is our top priority, dc81.

Please keep in mind that the reactivation of your subscription may take up to 24 hours to complete. Once the reactivation is complete, your subscription will be marked as Active. However, if your subscription isn't yet active, let's try to check your payroll service subscription. Here's how;

  1. Close all company files and restart your computer.
  2. Open QuickBooks, navigate to Employees, click My Payroll Service, then select Manage Service Key.
  3. Your Service Name and Status should be correct and show as Active.
  4. Select Edit and check the service key number. If the service key is incorrect, enter the correct one.
  5. Select Next, uncheck the Open Payroll Setup box, then click Finish.

If the issue persists, let's run the repair tool for QuickBooks Desktop for Windows. This will help you fix common error rights away.

You can also contact our live support team if you need to run payroll immediately.

You can refer to this article to learn how to update your legal business name and Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to match the IRS records: Change your legal business information for payroll.

You're always welcome to drop by again if you need further assistance managing your QuickBooks subscription or any payroll-related concerns. I'm looking forward to helping you. Have a great day.
