My payroll check date is Friday November 27, 2020. When do I have to have my payroll submitted to Intuit so that my employees received their direct deposit funds on Friday November 27th?

Hello there, @Terri663. I can help process your direct deposit schedule on the paycheck date.
The direct deposit in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) has a 2-day lead time. You'll want to submit the payroll before 5 p.m., Pacific Time, two banking days prior to your paycheck date.
Since Thursday, November 26th, is a holiday, you can submit your payroll Tuesday, November 24th before 5:00 PM PST. This way, your employees will receive their direct deposit funds on Friday, November 27th.
I'm adding this article for more details: How do federal holidays affect my direct deposit?
Also, just in case you've reached your direct deposit limit soon, you can read this article to know what to do: Get help if you’re over a direct deposit limit.

THX MARK !! Happy Thanksgiving
Does this schedule not apply to businesses using Quickbooks Online for their payroll? We were told that we could either have the employees direct deposit go in on Wednesday, 11/25/20 or Monday, 11/20/20. Why would the processing be different?
Thank you!
Caryn
The same rule applies to a business using QBO Payroll, Caryn.
The Direct Deposit has a two-day lead time excluded from any holidays. Since this coming November 26, 2020, is a holiday, the direct deposit will become three days including the holiday.
If you want to pay your employees on November 25, 2020, you can run their payroll today, November 23, 2020.

I'm just around if you need help. Keep safe!
QuickBooks Online Payroll is Next Day Direct Deposit. If you run payroll on Wednesday (in QBO) that could be direct deposited on Friday. This is one of the areas where QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop differ and where QBO actually is better than QBD.
my direct deposit was supposed to come last night and it didnt so when will my money load
There are a few reasons why you aren't able to get your direct deposit, @alexm22.
This happens when:
If your scenario falls on the first two reasons, then the funds will be rejected and returned to the employer's account. This process will take 2-3 business days after the pay date. If the employee still did not receive the funds by 5 PM after the settlement date, I suggest contacting our support team. By doing so, we can do a direct deposit trace.
Here's how:

I'll be around if you need anything else with your direct deposit in QuickBooks. I'd be more than happy to help. Happy Thanksgiving day.
I have QBO and in the payroll section it said that "Next Payroll due Wednesday, 11/25/2020" for a pay day of Friday, 11/27/2020. I processed payroll at 10:30 AM EST on 11/25/2020, received a Direct Deposit receipt yesterday saying the deposits would be withdrawn and paid on 11/27/2020, but as of now, 7:25 AM EST on 11/27/2020, no withdraws or deposits have been made. Should I expect it later this morning or will it be delayed until Monday?
I processed QBO payroll on Tuesday 11/24 and it was supposed to process and pay my employees today. As of 7:30am on friday, 11/27, they have not been paid and they are freaking out. When will payroll be processed?! This has never happened with QBO and I am very upset.
Thanks for sharing your concerns with us, @ReillyJames and @Bosslady30907.
I'm here to provide you the information that you need when processing direct deposits in QuickBooks.
Your payroll must be processed and sent to Intuit before 5 p.m., Pacific Time, two banking days before your paycheck date to guarantee your direct deposits process on time.
However, if payroll is submitted on a non-banking day (federal holidays and weekends), your direct deposit will be drawn from your account the next banking day. Since November 26, 2020, is a federal holiday (Thanksgiving Day), therefore it would affect your payroll process.
If you run your payroll on Tuesday 11/24 before 5 p.m, then your employees should receive their paycheck on Friday before 5 p.m. However, they're unable to receive it, I recommend reaching out to our payroll support. This way, they can perform a direct deposit trace to locate the transaction and find out the cause of the issue.
In the meantime, you can issue a paper check to make sure your employees will get their pay on time.
For your concern, @ReillyJames, since you've processed your payroll on Wednesday, Nov. 25, you're employees should receive their paycheck on Monday, Nov. 30 before 5 p.m. PT.

You can also look into our latest Intuit payroll calendar. This way, you can submit your payroll one business day earlier if the payday falls on, or the day after a holiday.

Thanks for your response. The Direct Deposit actually went through around 8:00 AM EST today, just a little later than normal.
