Timesheet column headers and columns disappeared on EE timesheet

I use Quickbooks Premiere Contractor Edition. One of my employees' timesheet columns have shifted all the way to the right and the column headers are missing. I cannot get it to reset. All other EE's timesheets are fine. This has nothing to do with checking "use time for payroll" or billing--it's a physical adjustment issue I cannot reset. Any ideas?

Help has arrived, mmclerici. I'm here to ensure your employee's timesheet column gets fixed.

 

To start, I'd suggest running the Verify and Rebuild Data utility. The tool scan data issues within the company file and self-resolves them. Before proceeding, I'd suggest updating QuickBooks. This keeps your software up-to-date to ensure you have the latest fixes. Here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Help tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. Go to the Update Now tab.
  5. Put a checkmark on the box beside Reset Update.
  6. Hit Get Updates

Once done, you can now use the Verify and Rebuild tool.

 

To verify data:

 

  1. Open the company file.
  2. Click the File tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Utilities.
  4. Choose Verify Data.

 

To rebuild data:

 

  1. Open the company file.
  2. Click the File tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Utilities.
  4. Choose Rebuild Data.
