I am having the same issue - I can't get to QB support - how do you contact anyone at QB support
Hello there, @bt73.
I have another steps for you to reach our Customer Care Team. Here's how:
Right now, our engineers are still working for a fix with regards to the error when using Summarize Payroll Data in Excel feature. Once an update is available, you'll receive an email associated with your Intuit account.
The Community is always here to help. If you need any more assistance, don't hesitate to ask. Have a great day!
This is really unacceptable from Intuit. We are also not able to use the Statement Writer with Microsoft 365. Considering Intuit is a software company you would think they would be able to adapt or get a patch. I can't get the excel reports I need for payroll and I need to use a laptop with an old version of Excel 2016 to issue GAAP financial statements for clients. To say that the latest version of Excel that works is from 2016 is ridiculous - it is not even supported by Microsoft anymore. As a Proadvisor why would I continue to recommend a product that can't keep even remotely current - that version of Excel is over 4 years old. Intuit forces us to update for payroll purposes every three years, but can't keep their product current. I am starting to look into some other options to use - this has been problem far to long!
Arfe there any updates on this?
No, there haven't been any updates from Intuit. It's been three years now. They even updated the feature so it can connect to QuickBooks 2022, but still didn't fix it! But don't worry, as the reps here say, Intuit is diligently working on it! Of course, that's a lie. It took us about three hours to fix it.
