I am not buying that answer though because the funds still have not been withdrawn from our business bank account which means these funds will likely not be available in employees accounts until Monday and that is not acceptable to me. I also cannot just issue paychecks instead today to replace the direct deposits to employees without fear of paying my employees twice because the direct deposits will still go through. We basically have to ask our employees to wait 3 days to receive their paycheck. That is unacceptable and I want to know what happened to cause this. I want them to convince me that the employees will receive pay in their accounts by the end of the day today because as of now I am not buying that and in the meantime I have no clue how to get an actual human person on the phone which is also not acceptable!
I agree. They closed down all online and phone chat, I assume because they knew they would have a lot of unhappy people contacting them.
I do know for myself, that funds are always withdrawn from our account and posted in my employee accounts same day. Its always available for them first thing in the morning, so I am hopeful that there will not be any additional delays.
If you were to run your payroll today, would it post to your employees late tonight (Saturday morning) or would it post on Monday morning (Sunday after midnight)? For me if I were to run payroll today with Quickbooks, the funds would not be available to be deposited into my employees accounts until Monday morning because my bank does not process Friday evenings and are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. So unless they will be doing something different due to this big, giant screw up. I dont see how those funds will be available until Monday for me and the other employees here. I do sincerely hope that I am wrong though.
In the meantime, I cannot just print off checks to replace the deposits. I am highly annoyed right now and more so because I cannot get anybody on the phone to get guidance. I want to just print checks off and I am running out of time to get them printed, signed and available by end of the day today. I wish I could just get a damned answer. Did I mention that I am highly annoyed??!
And who is this mysterious "third party" they are blaming for the as yet unexplained "issue??"
