If you're referring to sending payroll to Intuit, it's possible there's an NSF Hold (Non-Sufficient Funds) in your account. This means the payroll account is on hold because the debit for your payroll or tax payment was returned due to an issue with your bank account.
In the meantime, you can issue paper checks to your employees and record them in your online payroll once the hold is removed. When creating paychecks that have already been paid, you can temporarily turn off the direct deposit.
