Why is QBO payroll not accruing sickpay for employee retention credit hours?

Since I started using the ERC hours and OT, my employees stopped accruing sickpay. Employees not under the ERC program keep acrruing sickpay.

I can see how you would need to accrue the ERC and ERC OT hours in the sick pay account of your employee.

 

For now, the system doesn't accrue the ERC and ERC OT hours. With that, this setup is not yet available in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, we manually track each employee.

Thanks for the quick reply.

 

So now, we have established that QBO doesn't calculate the sick pay for employees in the ERC program. This is flaw in the software which I notified you a month ago.

 

The options you are giving me sound like I need to manually track either the sick pay accrual or the ERC hours. This is not what I expect when I pay for a service. The flaw in the system is creating a liability for it users and I am chocked that there is no urgency to fix this.
