Setting up direct deposit for company and I entered the wrong bank information (wrong routing number). How do I fix it?

Hi @kjw,

 

You'll have to download the Bank Account Change Form and submit it via email (this option is recommended) or fax. 

 

You can find the email or fax contact information in this article: Change your direct deposit bank account for QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Basic, Standard or Enhanced. It's located at the bottom of the page. 

 

Next thing you need to do is activate this new direct deposit bank account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select Employees, then My Payroll Service, then Account/Billing Information.
  2. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
  3. Go to Payroll Info section, under Direct Deposit Bank Account select Verify.
  4. Enter and confirm your payroll PIN.
  5. Select Submit.
